Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC)

In California prior to purchasing a firearm you must have a valid Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC).

We do administer the FSC test on site. There is no appointment needed for your FSC examination.

Our receiving and handling fee is based on the purchase/invoice value of the merchandise before tax and shipping.

STORAGE FEES

Customers will be notified when their package is ready for pickup. Storage time begins on the date the customer is notified.

Over 100 lb: +$40
Oversized items requiring significant storage space: Quoted before acceptance

Arcadia Firearm & Safety reserves the right to determine whether a shipment requires an oversized or special-handling charge.

MULTIPLE PACKAGES

The standard receiving fee covers one package.

Additional packages received for the same customer or transaction may be charged $5 per additional package.

Packages arriving separately may be treated as separate shipments.

FIREARM SHIPMENTS

You must contact Arcadia Firearm & Safety before shipping any firearm to us.

The buyer and shipper are responsible for confirming before shipment that the firearm is eligible for transfer to the intended buyer under applicable California and federal law, including California handgun roster requirements when applicable.

Acceptance or delivery of a firearm to Arcadia Firearm & Safety does not guarantee that the firearm can legally be transferred to the intended buyer.

Non-Transferable Firearms

If a firearm cannot legally be transferred to the intended buyer:

The original receiving/transfer fee is non-refundable.
The customer is responsible for return shipping and related expenses.
Applicable storage fees remain the customer's responsibility.
Other expenses associated with legally returning or otherwise handling the firearm are the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by law.

Do not ship a firearm until Arcadia Firearm & Safety has agreed to accept the transfer.

TAXES

Applicable sales or use tax will be collected when required by law if the seller or shipper did not previously collect the required tax.The customer is responsible for providing a valid invoice, receipt, or other documentation showing the purchase price and any tax previously paid.Any required tax is in addition to our receiving, handling, transfer, storage, shipping, and other applicable fees.If adequate documentation showing the purchase price and tax previously paid cannot be provided, applicable tax may be collected based on the purchase price or other value as required by law.

PACKAGE INSPECTION & RESPONSIBILITY

Our receiving service covers accepting, recording, storing, and releasing packages to the customer.

Arcadia Firearm & Safety does not guarantee the condition, operation, authenticity, completeness, or contents of merchandise received from a third-party seller.

Customers are responsible for resolving shipping damage, missing items, returns, warranty claims, merchandise condition, or purchase disputes with the seller, manufacturer, or carrier, as applicable.

UNCLAIMED MERCHANDISE

Merchandise left for an extended period may continue to accumulate storage charges.

Unclaimed merchandise will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Storage fees and other outstanding charges remain the customer's responsibility.

BEFORE YOU SHIP

Please contact Arcadia Firearm & Safety before having merchandise shipped to us.Packages should clearly identify the customer's:Full Name Phone NumberTracking information should be provided whenever possible.Regulated merchandise, firearms, high-value items, oversized shipments, and other unusual merchandise may require prior approval or additional documentation.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Arcadia Firearm & Safety reserves the right to refuse or discontinue receiving, handling, transfer, or storage services at our discretion, subject to applicable law.We may refuse merchandise or packages that are unauthorized, improperly addressed, unsafe, prohibited, noncompliant with applicable laws or regulations, excessively large or heavy, unusually difficult to handle or store, or otherwise unsuitable for our service.Acceptance of a shipment by a shipping carrier does not guarantee acceptance by Arcadia Firearm & Safety.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By requesting our receiving service, or by shipping, authorizing, directing, or causing merchandise or a firearm to be shipped to Arcadia Firearm & Safety, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Receiving & Holding Service Policy, including applicable:

Receiving and handling fees
Storage fees
Oversized and heavy-item charges
Multiple-package charges
Taxes and government fees
Firearm transfer requirements
Return shipping and related expenses
Non-transferable merchandise policies
Unclaimed merchandise policies
Right to Refuse Service

Sending or authorizing a shipment to Arcadia Firearm & Safety constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.If you do not agree to these terms, do not ship or authorize merchandise to be shipped to Arcadia Firearm & Safety.

PAYMENT

Payment of all applicable receiving, handling, transfer, storage, shipping, taxes, government fees, and other chargesis required before merchandise is released, subject to applicable law.Government fees, background-check fees, taxes, or other charges associated with regulated transfers are separate from the receiving and handling fees shown above.
